Our Process

How We Deliver

A disciplined, proven approach tailored for this division — from first conversation to long-term support.

01

Drawing Review & Feasibility

We review your component drawings, GD&T requirements, material specifications, and quantity — assessing manufacturability and identifying the optimal machining approach.

02

Process Planning

Detailed operation sequencing — selecting machines, tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each operation to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes.

03

Raw Material Procurement

Material sourced from certified suppliers with full test certificates. Material verification through spectroscopy or physical testing as required.

04

CNC Machining Operations

Multi-operation machining with in-process inspection at critical stages. First article inspection (FAI) before production run commencement.

05

Quality Inspection & Certification

Final inspection using calibrated instruments — CMM, micrometers, bore gauges, surface testers. Inspection reports and material certificates provided with every delivery.

06

Finishing & Delivery

Surface treatment, protective packaging, and timely delivery. We manage heat treatment, plating, and coating coordination through approved sub-contractors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About
CNC Manufacturing

What tolerances can you achieve?

We routinely machine to tolerances of ±0.01mm (10 microns) and can achieve ±0.005mm (5 microns) for critical dimensions with appropriate process planning. Surface finish capabilities range from Ra 0.4 to Ra 3.2 depending on material and geometry.

What materials can you machine?

We machine mild steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel (304, 316, 410, 17-4PH), aluminum alloys, brass, copper, bronze, cast iron, engineering plastics (Nylon, PEEK, Delrin, PTFE), and exotic alloys on request.

What is your maximum machining capacity?

Turning: up to 800mm diameter. Milling: table sizes up to 1500mm × 600mm. Boring: depending on machine specification. For very large components, we coordinate with partner facilities while maintaining quality oversight.

Do you handle single-piece prototypes or only production runs?

Both. We regularly handle single-piece prototypes, small batch runs (5-50 pieces), and medium production volumes (100-5000 pieces). Our process planning adapts to quantity — optimizing setup and tooling for each scenario.

Can you work from 3D models instead of 2D drawings?

Yes. We accept STEP, IGES, Parasolid, and native CAD formats (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor). Our programming team generates toolpaths directly from 3D models. We can also create 2D manufacturing drawings from your 3D models if needed.

Do you provide material certificates and inspection reports?

Yes. Every delivery includes material test certificates (MTCs), dimensional inspection reports, and surface finish reports. For critical components, we provide CMM reports with full GD&T compliance documentation.

What is your typical lead time?

Prototypes: 5-10 working days. Small batches: 2-3 weeks. Production runs: 3-6 weeks depending on complexity and quantity. Rush orders can be accommodated with prior arrangement.

Do you coordinate heat treatment and surface coating?

Yes. We manage the complete manufacturing chain — including heat treatment (hardening, tempering, case hardening, nitriding), surface treatments (chrome plating, zinc plating, anodizing, powder coating), and assembly. Single-source coordination ensures dimensional integrity is maintained throughout.
